History

Established in 1986, this business was birthed as a corporate catering service called Islands.  With most of our flavors and dishes being unique, our guests began to refer to our items as "that chicken,” “that rice” or “that soup". It was only befitting we change our corporate name to "Dhat Island." We eventually opened the first Dhat Island restaurant in Redlands, CA. As you can see on Yelp.com, the responses are encouraging. It is our hope to open several other spots throughout California.
